What is the Catholic Community Foundation?

The Catholic Community Foundation was founded in 1992 with a mission to support financially the spiritual, educational and social needs of our Catholic community.

 We fulfill this mission by:

  • seeking endowment funds that support our mission;
  • helping donors achieve their charitable and financial goals;
  • helping parishes, schools and Catholic organizations meet their long-term financial needs;
  • providing responsible and effective financial and investment management; and
  • distributing earnings according to community priorities and donor intent.

Since its creation, the Foundation has distributed more than $100 million in grants to the community, on behalf of our donors and partners.

Donors are able to choose among a number of fund options to benefit their favorite charities. These include Endowments, Donor Advised Funds, Designated Beneficiary Funds and Field of Interest Funds. In addition, the Foundation offers life income arrangements via Charitable Gift Annuities and Charitable Remainder Trusts.
