Higher Ground provides both emergency shelter and more permanent housing for people who face homelessness.
“We are not Catholic Charities. We don’t house and feed people. We provide funding in perpetuity for those who do.”
– Anne Cullen Miller
Catholic Charities is one of more than 2,000 organizations CCF donors support through donor advised funds, permanent endowments and foundation grants. In recent years, CCF has directed more than $1 million to Catholic Charities on behalf of CCF donors. CCF also manages funds and endowments for Catholic Charities — making every dollar work harder in support of their charitable work.
CCF donors contributed more than $40,000 to the Dorothy Day Place redevelopment campaign. The Higher Ground facility, completed in January, is phase one of the two-phase project.
