$8,400 grant to St. Dominic School in Northfield for signage outside the school
St. Dominic Principal Dawn Biren writes,
“This grant allowed our school to gain more visibility within our own parish community (we are on separate sites) and within the greater Northfield community. In addition, the new ‘professional’ signage has really elevated the look of our school and grounds.
“We have seen an increase this spring in interest from the general public for enrollment in our school. Our PreK program was 80% full for the fall just one month after opening enrollment to the general public. We have just four openings left for the fall. And we are seeing a greater increase in the retention of students from our PreK program to our K-8 program. I do believe that the increased visibility at our parish and in our Northfield community has been a driving force in this growth.”
