Laudato Si’ Fund

Following Pope Francis’s repeated calls for engagement with the Vatican’s Laudato Si’ Action Platform, CCF recently created the Laudato Si’ Fund to support Catholic parishes and schools who strive to achieve net zero carbon emissions.

The first grants from the fund will enable four parishes in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis to participate in the Parish Net Zero Covenant Program. This is an initiative to help parishes reduce their energy consumption and discern pathways to reach net zero in carbon emissions.

Anyone in our community who wishes to support these efforts and help more Catholic parishes and schools receive grants to take steps toward net zero carbon can do so by giving to the Laudato Si’ Fund at the Catholic Community Foundation.
