...supporting the spiritual, educational and social needs of the Catholic community.
A bequest, the most common form of planned giving, is a gift of assets (money and/or other property) that is made through your Will, Living Trust or other testamentary arrangement. No funds are transmitted or irrevocably transferred to the designated charity until after your death. No estate tax will be owed on the amount of the charitable bequest.

Simply by naming the Catholic Community Foundation in your Will, Living Trust or other testamentary arrangement, you become a member of our Legacy Society. The following is suggested bequest language your attorney may use in preparation of your Will:

“I/we the undersigned, give (a percent or a dollar amount) of my/our estate to:

Catholic Community Foundation in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis
One Water Street West, Suite 200
Saint Paul, MN 55107
Phone: 651-389-0300
Tax I.D. #41-1744184"

If you choose, you may also add language similar to the following: "This bequest is to be added to the Family of Faith Endowment Fund, OR be used to fund a designated beneficiary endowment to support (Insert name of your parish, school or other Archdiocesan organization) OR be added to an existing endowment fund in the name of (a parish or Catholic school) OR be added to the (Insert your lastname) Family Endowment Fund.”

IMPORTANT: When making a planned gift (such as bequests, life insurance, retirement plans), please contact us whenever you choose to name CCF as a beneficiary so that we can ensure your charitable intention is fulfilled.
